The article presents information about four day reconstruction conference of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce held at Altlantic City in New Jersey, from December 3 to December 6, 1918. In the conference big businesses were predominantly represented. There was no official representation of labor and farmers. The conclusions of the conference may be accepted as an authoritative indication of the attitude which American business leaders of special prominence are likely to assume toward certain problems of reconstruction.
