The article presents information on major developments taking place across the world as of December 14, 1918. According to press reports, a U.S. federal judge has ordered the payment of $1,000,000 to Czechoslovaks, in settlement of a suit filed on January 26,1917, in behalf of the Imperial Russian Government, then in power, against the Tennessee Copper Co. The decision is said to be based on alleged facts that the territory under the jurisdiction of Czechoslovak government takes in some of the territory that formerly was a part of Russia. The courts order made it possible for the money to be paid to Czechoslovaks instead of Bolshevik regime of Soviet Union.
