The article presents information on three books. The books are: "Genetics: An Introduction to the Study of Heredity," by Herbert Eugene Walter; "Psychology and Industrial Efficiency," by Hugo Munsterberg; and "The Science of Human Behavior," by Maurice Parmelee. Viewed together, these three volumes present an instructive epitome of the demands now being made to put human life into the harness of science. "Genetics," by Walter, is an attempt to summarize for the intelligent but uninitiated reader some of the more recent phases of the question or heredity.
