Abstract

The Law of Waiver

The article presents information about the book "Waiver Distributed," by John S. Ewart. A careful study of the book leads one to doubt whether the publishers were quite frank with the author. Their declinations may have been based on the conviction that the work was one which they did not care to vouch for. The author would have been more successful in his attempt to improve the law if he had confined his efforts to the correction of abuses in the employment of "waive," and had not undertaken the task of eliminating the term altogether from legal parlance.
