The opening of the French Theatre proclaimed the real beginning of New York's dramatic season. If one could set aside an evening a week to be spent at the Vieux Colombier, for the next twenty-five weeks, he would be sure of educational profit and delight. According to the new schedule each play will run one week only, therefore lovers of the drama must keep a brisk pace or be the losers. In addition to some of the best of last season's productions, there will be more than a dozen new ones, including, "Georgette Lemeunier," "Boubouroche," "Les Uns et les Autres," and "Les Caprices de Marianne."
