Arise this week in the price of foreign Government bonds to the highest level of the year gives interest to the condition of American investments in these loans. Most of these foreign bonds have been rising in price ever since the German drive in March last. The greatest foreign loan of the war period in which American investors have been largely interested will not mature until October 15, 1920. Most of these issues have become popular with American investors, and because of their high income return they have been fairly well distributed.
