This article presents several books related to war. One of the books is "The War-Eagle," by W.J. Dawson, which studies the coming of the war from a fresh angle in current fiction, from the point of view of a young Englishman who has grown almost at home in America. He is still in his twenties, but already recognized as the coming novelist. A great publisher is his friend, a popular editor stands ready to feature him in the near future. The first shock of the war depresses him. Other books include "That Which Hath Wings: A Novel of the Day," "Jamesie," and "Towards Morning."
