The article presents information about the book "The Art of Photoplay Making," by Victor Oscar Freeburg. The book is a practical treatment of the subject of photoplay making. Freeburg has already made himself known to some extent on photoplay through his lectures at Columbia and certain articles contributed to metropolitan papers. Besides being familiar with the varied development of modern drama and with dramatic history, he is sensitive to the best canons of taste. The most interesting part of he book is that its has given the presentation of the large potentiality of cinema art for imaginative appeal.
