The article presents information about four books. "The Time Spirit," by J.C. Snaith; "Over the Hills and Far Away." by Guy Fleming; "Love Eternal," by H. Rider Haggard; "The Promise of Air," by Algernon Blackwood. Snaith's book which is supposed to manifest itself in these pages is nothing more or less than the modern working that all men are more or less free and equal. The plot of Flemming's book revolves around a family mystery. Blackwood inclines to over explicitness in his development of the theme, is often both long winded and heavy handed. Blackwood in his story abandons the mystery of the past and undertakes an excursion into the mystery of the future.
