The article focuses on various political developments around the world in 1918. The question of the disestablishment of the Church of England, which has been slumbering for some years, has come forward again under unexpected circumstances. In the second article, Russians of every shade of political opinion are making it increasingly clear that "a close cooperation with the economic forces of Russia, in the common interest of the whole world," is the most hopeful line of action in that country.
