The article presents incidents related to the world politics. U.S. President Thomas Woodrow Wilson appeals to the farmers for increased production, and the farmers are ready to aid. It was a general Farmers' Conference on production, indeed, held at a leading agricultural college, which invited his appeal. The effort to exceed last year's achievement in planting 12,000,000 extra acres will require sacrifice, foresight, and unremitting labor, as the President points out. The President speaks of the help the Federal Government is giving; and its assistance in offering cheap credit, purchasing and producing fertilizers.
