The article presents information on political developments around the world during the early 1910's. President Woodrow Wilson, in his little address to the Methodist Conference In Washington, last Thursday, spoke with quiet confidence of his belief that the attitude of the U.S. Government towards the European war has the support of "the great steadfast body of self-possessed Americans." The article also presents information on Japan. Definite Information succeeds rumor in the matter of the negotiations between Peking and Tokyo, it becomes plain that Japanese "encroachments" are partly fictitious and partly put forward In the process of bargaining and with no serious intent.
