The article presents news related to political issues. The statement of the Commission for Relief in Belgium on the full extent of its operations offers an opportunity to correct false impressions of the amount of money and food given by Americans. The U.S. Federal Reserve Board at Washington has taken the action which the banking and business community had hoped from it, in correcting some patent mistakes of judgment made by the organizers of the twelve "reserve districts" tributary to the twelve Reserve Banks of the system.
