The article presents an analysis of the book "American Civil Church Law," written by Carl Zollman. This book is one of those careful and painstaking studies which take years to prepare. It deals with the civil law, applicable to churches; and yet the Zollman has done more than give a mere digest of hundreds of cases cited, for in every instance he has clearly stated the law. Each chapter is closed with a brief summary, from which its scope and contents may be gained at the minimum expense of time.
