The Future of Turkey in Europe

This article focuses on the future of Turkey in Europe in the context of World War I. In Asia, Turkey is losing its hold on the subject peoples. The article highlights the losses Turkey had to suffer over the last few years. Of Turkey in Europe only a remnant has been saved. Aside from the territory relinquished to Austria-Hungary and Russia, the losses have been due to the creation of independent states. One after another the leading nationalities of the Balkan peninsula have freed themselves from the Turkish yoke.
