This article presents information about various books. Some of them are "Home Fires in France," by Dorothy Canfield, to be published by Henry Holt & Co., "The Submarine in War and Peace," by Simon Lake, to be published by J.B. Lippincott Co., "The Psychology of Courage," by Herbert G. Lord, to be published by John W. Luce & Co., and others. Readers who have had a surfeit of impressionistic accounts of Germany from travelers, "neutral observers," and the like, may find more solid satisfaction in Cyril Brown's "Germany As It Is To-day." It is brought out casually in the course of the book that the author, as staff correspondent at the front, was in Germany at various times between the outbreak of the war and the intervention of the U.S.
