The article focuses on various publications. The following volumes are announced for July publication by George H. Doran Co.: "The Hive," by Will Levington Comfort; "The British Campaign in France and Flanders," vol. 3, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; "From Bapaume to Pasehendaele," by Philip Gibbs; "An English-woman's Home," by A. Burnett Smith. The second article focuses on the publications of the State Historical Society of Iowa is "Old Fort Snelling, 1819-1858," by Marcus L. Hansen. The history of the fort has been skillfully used by the author as a centre around which to weave an interesting account of the discovery and occupation of the "upper country" by the white men.
