The article presents information on practical politics. There will probably be a meeting at Versailles some time in December of representatives of the Great Powers, that U.S. President Woodrow Wilson proposes to attend. The death of Francis E. Leupp recalls the fact that for fifteen years he was the valued representative in Washington of the "New York Evening Post," and "The Nation." The labor situation is in great confusion, for the readjustment consequent upon the cessation of hostilities is already in full swing. The abolition of overtime and Sunday work in war establishments caused 2,500 men in a single plant to quit work, fearing an end to wages.
