This article presents information about five books related to music. The books are: "International Who's Who in Music and Musical Gazetteer," by César Saerchinger, "The Earlier French Musicians," by Mary Hargrave, "On Listening to Music," by E. Markham Lee, "The Bethlehem Bach Choir," by Raymond Walters, and "Boston Symphony Orchestra Programmes," edited by Philip Hale. American music and musicians are receiving more and more attention. An interesting feature of this volume is a geographical index listing the names of players, singers, teachers, conductors, and critics in all important European and American towns.
