The article discusses various developments related to politics and other issues. As far as the United States is concerned there has been no marked change in the Mexican crisis situation. That the frequent consultations of the military authorities at Washington D.C. Two other incidents in the week which at one time caused serious alarm have been satisfactorily settled. The German steamship Kronprinzessin Cecilie, which had on board a consignment of arms and ammunition for Huerta, sailed from Vera Cruz on Monday without having discharged her cargo and news was received on Tuesday that the Mexican Government had ordered the immediate release of Vice Consul John R. Silliman, who had been held a prisoner at Saltillo.
