The article presents information about four new fictional books. One of them is titled "David Penstephen," written by Richard Pryce. The second fiction is titled "Barnavaux," written by Pierre Mille. It has been translated by Bérengère Drillien. The third fiction is titled "The Anvil of Chance," written by Gerald Chittenden. The fourth fiction is titled "God's Man," written by George Bronson-Howard. One is tempted to dismiss Mr. Howard's effort as melodramatic claptrap, but a careful study of its turbid length discloses occasional bits of verity and honest realism.
