The article presents information related to international politics. England is undergoing a series of upheavals in Cabinet and government positions that indicate the uncertain hold of the government of statesman Lloyd George after the reverses on the western front and the Irish crisis. Ireland continues to be a storm centre of British politics. While it is reported in Nationalist circles that an Order in Council will be signed enforcing conscription in Ireland before Home Rule is granted, it is clear that the combined opposition of the Catholic hierarchy, the Nationalist party, and the Sinn Feiner Party is making itself felt.
