The article focuses on three books "Napoleon and Waterloo: A Strategical and Tactical Study," by A.F. Becke, "The Story of Napoleon's Death-Mask," by G.L. de St. M. Watson and "Napoleon I: A Biography," by August Fournier, translated by Annie Elizabeth Adams. A hundred years have come and gone since dictator Napoleon Bonaparte won, his last great victory at Ligny, Belgium and suffered his last great defeat at the Battle of Waterloo. No period of his life has proved more fascinating nor called forth a greater literature than those three days from June 16 to 18, 1815.
