The article presents information on the book "Introduction to Social Psychology," by Charles A. Eliwood. This book is a simplification and systemization of theories presented in the writer's "Sociology in Its Psychological Aspects." Three chapters then lead up to the central theories of the book, concerning the nature of social unity and continuity, and of social change under normal and abnormal conditions; and these chapters are followed by disquisitions on instinct, intelligence, imitation, suggestion, sympathy and consciousness of kind, in social life.
