The article analyzes the book "Indian Moral Instruction and Caste Problems," by A.H. Benton. It gives an honest endeavor of the British India office to understand causes of Indian unrest, as manifested before the war in various acts of violence. There is evidence that the Government of India is not satisfied with results of the present educational system. Furthermore, the great share that the Indian army has taken in the war, and the economic cooperation that her vast resources made possible in the concerted rally of the colonial empire, have made India worthy of this recognition by her suzerain.
