The article analyzes the book "The World Peril: America's Interest in the War." It offers a special contribution to the more accurate understanding of reasons for the entry of the U.S. into the European war. It also provides a more vivid appreciation of all that is involved in the outcome of the conflict. When it comes to an indication of the kind of defeat that will render efficient Germany powerless for mischief and assure the safety of democratic states. Finally it gives a brief look on the peril to international law.
