The article presents some political updates. It highlights the recently held Paris Peace Conference. A ray of truth has illumined the fog of hypocrisy that has concealed the land-grabbing going on in the name of democracy and the war to end war. In the conference U.S. President Woodrow Wilson gave his views on the Italian revolutionary movements. Another update focuses on the Sankey interim report of the British Coal Industry Commission which investigates the wages and hours of the various grades of colliery workers, the cost of production and distribution of coal and selling prices and profits together with any scheme which might be submitted for the future organization of the coal industry and the effect of such proposals upon the economic life of Great Britain.
