The article presents information about the musician Arnold Schönberg. The critics, with a few exceptions, have generally condemned, his music. On the other hand, musician Percy Grainger is much interested In Schönberg, and so is his former teacher. A musician who helped Schönberg to secure a publisher for his works, while the artist Gustav Mauler stipulated in his last will that the stipend for needy musicians which bears his name should be first given to this iconoclastic composer as the one most deserving of it.
