This article focuses on developments in the field of theater. James Fagan's "The Earth," had a successful run in London, England but it contains the sort of material of which this country has already had enough. It presents in an unconvincing way some of the arguments against the tyranny of capital. That the play itself is not upto the standard of its predecessors, was made sufficiently evident by the acting, which showed little distinction. "Any House" had an exceptionally strong cast. The author mentions this production after its withdrawal only in order to emphasize the warning of its failure: that the inspiration of the "movies" is not healthy for legitimate drama.
