The article presents information about several books. "Images--Old and New," by Richard Aldington. "Some Imagist Poets, 1916." "Goblins and Pagodas," by John Gould Fletcher. "Others: An Anthology of the New Verse," by Alfred Kreymborg. "Roads," by Grace Fallow Norton. "Turns and Movies," by Conrad Aiken. In the prefaces to "Goblins and Pagodas" and the 1916 anthology, the creed of imagism has been briefly reaffirmed. Much is made in both monographs of the figure of a circle, and the strophe, of which this circle is the image and even the basis, is declared to be the unit of free verse. The "Others" of Mr. Alfred Kreymborg is a book recommended to every librarian who includes among his purposes the enlivenment or the enlightenment of posterity.
