New Jersey is to have a Joint Industrial Council, with representation from organized labor, organized employers, and the general public of the State. The plan for the establishment of the Joint Industrial Council was introduced in the form of a resolution by the Governor and was adopted without a dissenting vote. A resolution introduced by the president of the State Federation of Labor, calling for the appointment of a committee to be composed of two members appointed by the State Federation of Labor, two by the Manufacturers' Association, and three, representing the public, by the State Chamber of Commerce, to put the project into effect, was also unanimously carried.
