The article focuses on the books on naturalism. These are "The Journal of a Disappointed Man," by W.N. Barbellion, "Mummery," by Gilbert Cannan and "The Pale Horse," by Boris "Ropshin" Savinkov. The significance is very great, although it is far from obvious. The sensitive reader will observe almost at once, of course, that the books are worth reading and the immaculate representation of the phenomenon of naturalism in emphatically described in all these books with a detailed description of the same.
