The article presents information about various books. William Henry Moore's "The Clash: A Study in Nationalities," ought seriously to modify the attitude of the English-speaking Canadian toward the French-speaking Canadian. Carefully presenting the facts of the clash between the Protestant English-speaking and Catholic French-speaking Canadians, he shows that the ideas and conceptions are based on a groundless apprehension of the supposedly malevolent designs of the Catholic Church. Frederick W. Goudy's monograph, "Alphabet" is a conspicuous feature of the make-up of the volume, which is a thin quarto, notable for its typography and the especially excellent quality of the presswork.
