The Constitution of the Far Eastern Republic

A constitution adopted by the Constitutional Assembly of Far Eastern Republic on April 27, 1921. The Assembly was made up of about 400 delegates, of whom more than half were peasants, 54 were from the old bourgeois parties, and the balance Communists. About 70 delegates from various parties were trade unionists. The Republic is governed strictly according to the laws given in this Constitution, equally obligatory without exception for all institutions, all officials, and the citizens of other countries coming upon the territory of the Republic.
