This article presents information about political developments around the world as of February 2, 1921. When the Germans destroyed a good part of the city of Louvain because they claimed that they were fired upon from certain houses and had to make an example of the city in order to protect their troops from similar attacks, the civilized world righteously rocked with amazement and abhorrence. American President Herbert Hoover is still begging for money to keep the children of Central Europe alive.
