This article presents information on two books, written by Robert Dunn. The first book is "The Americanization of Labor," and the other one is "Company Unions." "The Americanization of Labor," is replete with interesting material on the offensive which organized employers throughout the United States have waged against organized labor particularly since the war. It is not always an open warfare. It includes all the subtle devices of military warfare--espionage, camouflage, psychologic propaganda to the American labor movement and render it weak and in effectual. Dunn analyzes the more subtle methods: the company union, employee stock ownership, insurance pensions, and other company welfare activities. These are developed to create loyalty to the company and identification with it.
