The article presents discussion on three books. The books are: "Deliverance" by the author E. L. Grant Watson; "The Marbeck Inn." by the author Harold Brighouse; and "Coggin," by the author Ernest Oldmeadow. In his third novel Watson has come from the ends of the earth to discover new lands at home. They will be new, at least, to many readers, and that is the secret of the book's virtue. Grant is aware that his lands have been fairly thoroughly explored. But Watson's rediscovery is very genuine; he made it with his whole mind and he records both bravely and beautifully what he has seen.
