The article focuses on a treaty between Great Britain and Iraq. It states that on October 10, a treaty between Great Britain and Iraq was signed at Baghdad, Iraq. The treaty was signed in the presence of Percy Cox, High Commissioner and Consul General of Great Britain, at Iraq, his Highness Saiyid Abdur-Rahman, Prime Minister of the Iraq Government and Naqib-al-Ashraf of Baghdad, who had been appointed as plenipotentiaries. On the occasion of the signature of the treaty Cox made an announcement, which presented a complete reply to criticisms that Great Britain is exploiting Iraq for the sake of its oil resources.
