This article focuses on authors who contributed to this issue of the journals. Scudder Middleton is the author of two volumes of poetry, "Sheets and Faces" and "The New Day." He was born, in New York City where he still makes his home. Charles Merz is a journalist of note, formerly on the staff of the New Republic and the New York World. Kimball Young, who is now at the University of Oregon, was formerly professor of psychology at Clark University.
