This article presents information on various books. The book "What I Saw in Russia," by George Lansbury, is filled with direct and indirect refutations of what was headlined by the Koichak press as "authentic or first-hand facts." Lansbury describes the economic plight of the Soviet Union, trying to show the atrocious results of the blockade and interventions. The book "Bolshevik Russia," by G.E. Raine and E. Luboff, is one of the many propaganda writings prepared by unknown writers, strangers in the field of politics and economics. Despite the many quotations and the abundance of statistics the work is not convincing. The article also talks about the book "Sketches of Soviet Russia," by John Varney.
