The article discusses the radio censorship with reference to the bill regulating radio communication in the U.S. This bill which is now before the Congress, proposes that broadcasting should be treated like a public utility and licenses should be granted on the basis of public necessity. If it is passed, it will be too late to safeguard public rights so the American Civil Liberties Union has recommended some amendment to the bill to prevent consistent exercise of censorship on many stations, to prevent the domination of the radio stations by two or three large concerns and to establish a machinery by which public opinion may be freely expressed.
