Our Marines in Nicaragua

This article focuses on the withdrawal of the U.S. marines from Nicaragua. For more than thirteen years Nicaraguan territory has been violated by the presence of a detachment of the U.S. marines, due to the political ambitions of the Conservative governments that have succeeded to power since 1912. The U.S. amuses itself by developing in the South American countries a crude policy of extortion and piracy, force and violence. Since the signing of a treaty, there has been no one to authorize the presence of the U.S. troops in Nicaragua. This is an aggressive and arbitrary act without legal justification or political sanction.
