The article presents information about several books. The book "The Spanish Farm," by R.H. Mottram, with a preface by John Galsworthy is written by a man who has obviously drawn aloof from the emotional distortion occasioned by the conflict and allowed himself a period of years in which to settle back into spiritual perspective. The book "Flame and Dust," by Vincent Starrett is neither moving nor majestic nor lyrical, yet it deserves warm praise for its vigor and its lack of sentimentality. The book "Apples Here in My Basket," by Helen Hoyt consists of poems that are honest, simple, natural.
