This article presents information about the authors who have contributed to the present issue of the journal "The Nation." Some of them are as follows: Robert Dell, "The Nation's" correspondent in Germany, has been readmitted to France from which he had been barred since the publication in 1918 of the Sixtus letter, sent by him to the "Manchester Guardian." Franz Boas is professor of anthropology at Columbia. Clara M. Smertenko frequently reviews books on Greek literature and philosophy for "The Nation." Winthrop D. Lane has been acting as adviser on penal reform for the Ohio Institute in a reorganization of the prisons of the State.
