The article presents the report of a speech delivered by an Indian revolutionist, L. Lajpat Rai at the World Migration Congress in London during first week of June 1926. In his speech he said, it is perfectly true that Asia is just now in a condition of subordination and bet voice does not count for much in the affairs of mankind. But it must not be forgotten that this was not always so and there is no guaranty that it is going to be so for a very long time. It will be a short-sighted policy then, which is not likely to further the cause of humanity, at large, including that portion of humanity which resides in Europe and America, to ignore the interests and rights, even sentiments and prejudices, fears and hopes of the peoples of Asia.
