The article presents information about some theatrical and dance performances. The play "Ruint" written by Hatcher Hughes discusses the rough code of culture resting upon a sturdy belief in the duty of every man to look out for himself in the salutary struggle for the survival of the fittest rather than upon any mystical or sentimental virtues. At the neighborhood playhouse are being presented "The Legend of the Dance" and "Sooner and Later," two dance entertainments of rich and elaborate beauty, distinguished, among other things, by the very sprightly dancing of Anne Schmidt and the highly successful use of the new clavilux or color organ.
