This article presents information about the books "Hill of Destiny," by Jean Giono; "Dancing Catalans," by John Langdon-Davies; "Last Nights of Paris," by Philippe Soupalt and translated by William Carlos Williams and "The Elizabethan Jig and Related Song Drama," by Charles Read Baskervill. Mr. Baskervill has in his book written probably the last word on Elizabethan song-and-dance. The records are scanty, since the form never had standing either as literature or as music. In the book "Dancing Catalans," Mr. Langdon-Davies speculates upon and describes in a leisurely, charming manner the Catalans and their relation to the rest of Spain.
