This article presents information about the book "There Is Another Heaven," by Robert Nathan. The book is so delicately masked under Mr. Nathan's fantastic and extremely simple narration that few readers are likely to appreciate its subtlety. The book may or may not be Mr. Nathan's best work but it is significant inasmuch as a heaven of some kind is an indispensable asset of every human soul, however bitterly the same way inveigh against it and as irony is the sum of life, each of the three groping souls in this book gets the cut-and-dried heaven of its desires in substance and finds the substance shadow.
