This article focuses on the book "La Paix Malpropre," by M. Ebray. This book constitutes the third of a triptych prepared by M. Ebray on the general problems left by the war. Two other studies, "Le Crime de 1914-1918" and "Chiffons de papier," deal with war origins and with the violations of treaties committed by both sides before and during the conflict. The author devotes his first chapters to a rapid synopsis of the ideas embodied in these two volumes and then proceeds to his main purpose, which is a thorough and impartial criticism of the unclean spirit of the Versailles Treaty.
