There is nothing better in life than creative work. The drifter says that he does not get any money out of these portraits he doing now. It's kind of embarrassment to have a model and it's embarrassing for the model too. The wife, she gets tired posing. So these people they are friends and they come in, and during the rest period we have a little tea and something to eat. If everybody gets interested in art, if those people who could pay $250 or so would think of having their portraits done. The rich people get their pictures painted by about everybody that's big, then they don't want any more. And these men, they'd rather go hungry or anyway be poor than do a cheap portrait.
